Taking Part – a Chamberlain Lecture on neighbourhoods and democracy

A Local Democracy Week Chamberlain Lecture in the Chamberlain Room at the Council House, Victoria Square, Birmingham.  Dick Atkinson of Balsall Heath Forum and Melissa Shervington of First Class Youth Network will speak on rebuilding community participation in neighbourhoods.

    Thank you to both Melissa Shervington and Dick Atkinson for an interesting and thought provoking Chamberlain Lecture last Friday – particularly around the issues of the involvement of young people and also the experiences of Balsall Heath – rebuilding a neighbourhood.
