Information event with performing arts. No Such Thing Theatre Company with the ‘Successful Suffragetes’ who through the medium of street theatre We will encourage children to take a turn on the soap box to share their thoughts through the megaphone. There will also be a portable ballot box asking people what makes them proud of Erdington. Balloons and a face painter to entertain the younger children, and senior managers on hand to answer any questions. Erdington Town Centre Partnership will also have a stand to discuss the Town Centre and hand-out the Pride in Erdington magazine. The Arts on the Move exhibition vehicle will be offering the public the chance to have a go in art activities.

This event will provide an opportunity for young people from local schools to share work they have been doing as part of Black History Month. They will also take part in a question and answer session around citizenship and democracy.
Ward Support Officers and community safety coordinators will be having open sessions at Bartley green, Quinton Library and Harborne Library, asking question about democracy and community safety to service users.
